1. The following are excluded from this chapter:

(a) Lace made with a needle in heading 5804;

(b) Knitted or crocheted labels, badges, and similar articles in heading 5807; or

(c) knitted or crocheted fabrics, impregnated, coated, covered, or laminated, of Chapter 59. However, impregnated, coated, covered, or laminated knitted or crocheted fabrics with pile are classified under heading 6001.

2. Articles made from metal yarns and used in clothing, upholstery, and similar purposes are also included in this chapter.

3. Any reference to “knitted articles” in the tariff, wherever it appears, also includes stitch-knit articles made from yarn suitable for knitting.

Subheading Notes

1. Subheading 6005 35 covers fabrics weighing not less than 30 g/m² and not more than 55 g/m², with a mesh size of not less than 20 meshes/cm² and not more than 100 meshes/cm². , and impregnated or coated with alpha-cypermethrin (ISO), chlorfenapyr (ISO), deltamethrin (INN, ISO), lambda-cyhalothrin (ISO), permethrin (ISO), or pirimiphos-methyl (ISO), and includes fabrics made from polyethylene monofilaments or polyester multifilaments.
